Projects where I had a large role:
An otome game / dating sim for Android and iOS. It’s about a gutsy heroine and a bunch of roguish swashbucklers desperately trying to save the world from corrupting magic.
Swordfights! Risky escapes! Dark secrets! Romance!
It’s free to play, full-length, and has eight different endings. Eight! That’s a lot of places for your adventure to take you!
I was a writer on this game, and had enormous fun.
An off-beat romantic comedy about a lonely, nerdy girl and the two somewhat eccentric—and handsome—young men who are dead set on the idea of turning her into a model. Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome (Bocchimusume x Produce Keikaku) will be coming to MangaGamer.com in its fully uncut adult version and an all-ages edition for Steam. I’m the translation editor and project manager on the English-language localisation.
Announced July 1st 2016.
A visual novel / dating sim. Friendship, love, and grim reaping. I wrote the story and script, did all coding, and produced the game.
(also available via itch.io)
A visual novel about a man who needs a cure for his writer’s block, and the assistance that his wife and her lover provide. I was the translation editor on the official English-language release.
A DRAMAtical Murder fangame. I was responsible for scripting and dialog on the project.
An adventure game. The Knight’s Quest has failed. Now the Princess must save him, and herself. I was the writer for both script and story, and also co-producer.
Romance, medieval fantasy, and drama come together in this immersive visual novel / otome game. I’m a producer.
An adventure game by What Pumpkin Studios, based on the webcomic Homestuck. I was a writer.
Projects where I had a small role:
A visual novel by Cyanide Tea about family bonds, time travel, tracking down a serial killer, and potential gay romance. I was a beta tester.
A fantasy wartime visual novel by Aqualuft Games. I was a narrative and technical tester.
An unofficial English-language translation patch, put together by fans of this amazing Japanese visual novel from 2006. I was a beta tester.
There are only 3 weeks left until prom! Go through all kinds of absurd and funny situations to seduce one of your monster classmates. I’m part of the collaborative npc team and a crowd-designer.
A visual novel / dating sim starring scrappy protagonist Haru, a recent arrival in the big city. I’m part of the collaborative development team and a beta tester.
Legend of Rune is a BL visual novel RPG that takes place in a high fantasy setting. I’m part of the collaborative development team and a beta tester.
Projects where I had a nominal role:
A visual novel/dating sim about a magical cat cafe and trash wizards. I named one of the cafe’s cats, Kotik.
A game where you fight monsters under the bed to save a dying world. I created a supporting character.
My only role in making this game was contributing money to the kickstarter, but somehow that’s earned me an imdb page (the heck?) and my name’s part of the final credits maze, and most importantly it’s one of my favourite games in the world and I’ll use any excuse to tell people about it, so it gets to be on this page too.
