Comics industry

snicker/snack

I remembered her jacket from when I was a kid. So white and soft on my cheek. Rabbit fur. One day I'll burn it too.

snicker/snack, described as Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley as "aweosme", has words by Mary Borsellino and pictures by Audrey Fox, and can be found in the anthology Girls Drawn Wild! from Happy Harbor Comics.

All proceeds from Girls Drawn Wild! are donated to charity.

Comics journalism

Girl-Wonder.org is a feminist activism website I co-founded and participate in.

I'm a regular contributor to the comics webzine Sequential Tart, where my articles have included:

An essay by me about some of the gender tensions present in the character of Robin is archived at Girl-Wonder.org. Read it here.

Nowhere Elaborated is an information resource about, and cultural analysis of, Rosie Cotton, a character from The Lord of the Rings.

Pretty Good Year uses The Lord of the Rings as an origin point for a work of pastiche exploring themes of illness, loyalty, sexuality, and rebirth. Site also includes artwork, fiction by other writers, and translations.
